Hallee Cooks! Sourdough Milkbones

Hallee Cooks! Sourdough Milkbones

Sourdough Dog Biscuits!

Here is the recipe:

480g sourdough starter
200g flour (I used fresh ground golden wheat)
40g dried milk
32g peanut butter (with no junk in it - no sugars, oils, etc.)
enough water to make a dough that is not sticky and easy to roll.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C)
Roll to 1/2 inch thick. Cut out with cutters. Place on pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25 minutes. Turn oven off and leave in oven overnight to continue to dry out.

I use these cutters: https://amzn.to/44ZHtfv

I use the medium one (about 4 inches) and can make 15 biscuits with one batch.

*note: we doubled this to make a larger batch and they did not keep after 10 days.

The medium one compared to Milkbone "large" size.
