Hope and Acts 2:26

Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also will rest in hope." - Acts 2:26. On the Day of Pentecost, after the Holy Spirit poured out upon the disciples, a new era of joy and hope ignited. This gift of the Holy Spirit is what allows our hearts to leap with joy, our tongues to proclaim the wonders of God, and our lives to rest securely in the hope of Christ's resurrection. Peter's sermon revealed that God's plan did not get interrupted by the crucifixion of Christ, but rather was revealed. The Holy Spirit within us empowers us to live out our faith with gladness and confidence, regardless of what the world throws our way.
