Sourdough Peanut Butter Milkbones

Leaving these in the oven overnight make them hard and crunchy – great for cleaning dogs' teeth. My dogs LOVE them.

Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • cookie cutter

Ingredients

  • 480 grams sourdough starter
  • 200 grams flour (I use fresh milled kamut)
  • 40 grams dry milk
  • grams peanut butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F
  • Mix all ingredients. Add water if needed (my sourdough starter is pretty wet, so I rarely have to add water.)
  • Roll to 1/2" thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Please on parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn oven off and leave in overnight.
