It’s Fri-YAY! A 99 cent sale & 4 books for 99 cents!

Happy Fri-YAY

This week, my hubby headed to North Carolina to help his dad out, so it’s just been me and our son Scott. But, he’s twenty so I got maybe 15 minutes of face time with him a day. laughThat’s okay. I’ll take anything!

It gave me all week to just write and write and write. I started working on the first draft of Honor Restored, book 1 of the Valor Shield series that will be coming out from Sunrise Publishing in 2028. So why did I stop the two other projects I was working on to work on one coming out in 2028? Because it’s due November 1st. (Yikes!) But Gregg and I plotted it out in detail last week while he was on the 8-hour drive to North Carolina, so now it’s just a matter of how fast can I type. Which is pretty fast considering I’m well into Act II by now!

In the meantime, I am concluding the rolling sale of the Chords of Danger series this week. The Prodigal is on sale on Amazon for 99 cents through Thursday.

Christian contemporary superstar Harmony Harper has spent her whole life in the spotlight, singing for God and living up to her family’s legacyβ€”but nearing thirty and burning out fast, she retreats to her mountain cabin to find peace and inspiration. Hard rocker Steve Slayer is running from a different kind of demon: years of addiction have left him with a choice between sobriety and death, and he’s holed up in the Oregon mountains fighting for his life. When these two worlds collide in a small mountain town, an unlikely friendship blossoms into something deeper as Steve discovers faith and both discover each other. But when news of their romance breaks, neither side is celebratingβ€”and then the letters written in blood start arriving. With threats escalating to a terrifying attack at one of Harmony’s concerts, they realize someone wants to destroy more than just their relationship. Now Harmony and Steve must uncover who’s targeting them before the enemy brings their house down in a deadly dissonance that could silence them both forever.

The bad guys in this book are bad guys. I had to stop writing it for a while and write the Virtues and Valor series to kind of separate myself from getting into their heads. Then I was able to go back to it and finish it. The break was exactly what was needed! It ended up being a great book in the end with lots of exciting twists and turns!

The story captured me immediately. It’s intensely Christian which I love. It has a lot of mystery and pain in it. It will make you check your faith! I didn’t want to give the story away! Great book ❀️

Hallee Bridgeman is one of my favorite authors and she continues to astound me with her versatility in her books. I say this often, but this is one of my favorites. The spiritual warfare, the redemption, struggle with addiction-it is all well portrayed. The pressure of being in the spotlight, especially as a Christian artist was done well. None of us has it made. We all have our own struggles. I couldn’t put it down, great page turner. You will love this book!
